To analyze eating habits and consumers’ needs and expectations in the frozen products category. The project focused on reactions to new product ideas and designs as well as testing the product’s taste.
Moderation of an online community including a home-use test. The participants used photographs and mood boards to provide us with insights into their consumption habits and motivations. The product idea, the in-home product taste tests, and different packaging designs were discussed in forums as well as evaluated separately in single tasks.
We used the results to provide our client with advice on how to improve the product (recipe) and the packaging design and to make recommendations on how to develop the product further.
