In a Car Clinic, test persons are presented with automotive prototypes in their competitive environment in a neutral, sterile (“clinical”) setting.
The test vehicles are mostly prototypes that have been worked out in detail and hardly differ from the planned production vehicle. Most car clinics consist of qualitative (focus groups or qualitative in-depth interviews) and quantitative study parts. In recent years, Psyma has also successfully conducted so-called VR Clinics. Here, the prototype is visualized with the help of powerful computers and VR glasses.
In 2019 alone, Psyma conducted more than 19 Car Clinic projects around the world and with a focus on the German, US, Chinese and Latin American markets. Psyma has been on the market since 1998 as a successful institute for automotive market research and clinics.
Depending on your research question, we will design the right research approach for you. We draw on our extensive experience to ensure that no questions remain unanswered.
With clinics, we accompany your entire product development cycle and gather extensive information far beyond the topic of vehicle design. We support you in uncovering weaknesses in your current product range, uncover gaps in your product portfolio, develop new concepts or help you with market-driven pricing.
