Psyma is committed to implementing the Charter for Family Friendliness (Supporting Family Interests) in the European Metropolitan Region of Nuremberg (EMN). The population development in the Nuremberg region as well as in the Federal Republic of Germany shows a steady decline in the number of children. Simultaneously, the number of single households and couples without children are increasing so that the interests and living conditions of families is beginning to fall behind. To counteract this development, the Alliance for Families was established. Special consideration is to be given to the needs of parents with children in order to make the region more attractive to families and thus sustainable.
