      Dental Market Monitor

      Exevia’s Dental Market Monitor is a unique tool for capturing and analysing the purchasing behaviour of dentists in Germany. Weekly data updates enable our customers to react to any trends and developments quickly and flexibly. In addition to turnover and sales, market shares and penetration rates of various products and product categories – such as impression materials, fillings, and instruments – can be analysed in a highly visual and intuitive dashboard.

      Dental-Omnibus

      Exevia’s Dental Omnibus is a convenient and flexible solution enabling the Dental industry to get valuable feedback from their clients. We gather data quarterly, in February, May, July, and October, and the deadline for question submission is the 15th of the respective month. Our panel includes both dentists and dental technicians and covers a number of markets, including but not limited to:

      Our client was exploring options for the development of a new dental product to compete against the current perceived industry standard for a specialised indication area.

      To support the product development team, the company wanted to understand dentists’ demands on a new product in a number of feature areas that could lead dentists to switch products.

      To gain a thorough understanding of dentists’ needs and expectations, we conducted in-depth exploratory interviews in threecore markets. Product features and current unmet needs were discussed in detail and known benchmark products for each feature were identified.

      Dental - Our impact

      In addition to feedback for a target product profile, we uncovered a shift in attitudes to usage and product class perceptions which countered our client’s internal market hypotheses.

      This enabled us to guide the client’s broader strategy, leading the team to re-think their product development programme and marketing approach.
