Market Research Consultant, Quantitative Group [US Office]

Job Title:        Market Research Consultant

Division:         Healthcare Quantitative Services Group

Location:        King of Prussia, PA, USA

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A senior quantitative research consultant responsible for the day-to-day management of quantitative, domestic and international projects.  This person will interface with the client and will assist our quantitative group team leader.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Specific pharmaceutical market research experience required, minimum 5 years; advanced degree (PhD, MBA) desirable, but not necessary
• Specific experience doing primary market research on the vendor side
• Strong background and experience with quantitative methodologies, preferably including a range of study types (forecasting, pricing, positioning, ATUs, etc.), techniques (conjoint, discrete choice, various segmentation approaches, perceptual mapping) and general understanding of statistics (confidence intervals, sampling power, statistical significance, etc.).
• Proven record in developing and maintaining client / account relationship within the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong communication skills (written and presentation)
• Some domestic and international travel required (estimated no more than 5-10% of work days)

Scope of Position:

• Hands on market research consulting experience under guidance of our quantitative group team leader. Job activities to include: client contact, proposal writing, survey design, field coordination, analysis, report writing
• As a member of the Quantitative team, you will assist us in representing the Healthcare Group, as well as the Consumer Behavior Group. While 90%+ of our time is dedicated to pharma, anyone joining the group needs to be comfortable occasionally making forays into other industries
