Statement of Matthias Fargel, C.E.O. of PSYMA GROUP AG
It is with great pleasure that I welcome Mrs. Zhang Hong Fei and her husband Mr. Li Hui, Managing Director of DMRC, and their colleagues as new members within the global PSYMA team. DMRC is a young and dynamic, but already seasoned Chinese market research organization based in Beijing, so far specializing exclusively in the medical field. They have been impressing us with their medical know-how and dedication during a couple of joint projects over the past few years. With their expertise profile, DMRC blends perfectly into our strategy, unifying some of the world’s finest market research experts under the umbrella of the PSYMA trademark. Our corporate name stands for the promise of highest professional standards, at the global level, within very specific and demanding markets.
On July 1st, 2004, DMRC became Associate Member of the PSYMA GROUP. With this, DMRC taps into PSYMA’s decades of experience in the area of global medical marketing research as well as gaining access to our tools and know-how in other markets of PSYMA’s excellence. At the same time, DMRC represents PSYMA’s businesses in Mainland China and provides us with all their local know-how concerning the fast growing and changing Chinese healthcare market.
PSYMA and DMRC are ready to share their knowledge based on more than hundreds of projects ranging from anti-infectives to cardiovascular diseases, from blood plasma derivates to vaccines. Forming truly interdisciplinary and trans-cultural project teams, we will assist any stakeholders in these markets: the domestic manufacturers deploying state of the art marketing strategies within China as well as foreign companies or their JVs testing and securing their opportunities in China or assisting Chinese investors in their overseas information needs.
This is a particularly rewarding step for myself, as well. With family ties in Hong Kong since 1973, and after a couple of truly pioneering market research projects in China since 1986, a long journey to achieve a first foothold in this great nation has reached its first destination. I am confident that other local experts will join in soon, reinforcing our Chinese expertise in automotive, finance and brand core analysis.
Also, it marks the beginning of other engagements to follow soon in Asia.
