Starting in the mid-80s, we have conducted countless studies in Asia and the Pacific Rim. As a consequence to our long-term commitment to the P.R. China, where we have been carrying out studies from as early as 1992, we have installed our liaison office in 2004.
In August 2005, Psyma Business Research China has been established in Shanghai, China. Mainland China serves now as our number one research partner in Asia – with 50 percent of all Asian studies being conducted in mainland China.

We know about the considerable cultural and socio-economic differences within the region including caveats such as reimbursement, use of traditional medicines, "taboo" topics (contagious diseases, psychiatric disorders, sexuality), patient-doctor relationships, and self-medication/over-the-counter medication.
