  • Use of a benchmarking database with key indicators for the evaluation of newsletters.
  • Assessment of the performance of a newsletter, within the sector and cross-sector.

    • Regular evaluation at longer intervals (e.g. 1x per year) or more frequently, but with reduced scope of questioning.
  • Newsletter evaluation among non-subscribers (obstacles to use and opportunities).

  • User habits
  • Assessment of registration process
  • Assessment of newsletter (overall acceptance, likes / dislikes, layout, relevance of topics, clarity, etc.)
  • Potential for generating enthusiasm and loyalty
  • Willingness to recommend to others
  • Scope / text volume
