This study type allows us to answer the question "What characteristics best define my potential prescribers?".
We use a classification-tree analysis to identify unique characteristics of prospective prescribers who are most likely to respond to e.g. a certain stimulus. With this method, we can discover distinct physician segments by determining natural groupings with similar characteristics.
Unique prescription patterns, demographics, attitudes and behavioral aspects among potential customers can be identified. Once the significant groups have been found, it can then be decided which of the information can be used for what actionable objectives.
